Majeedia Unani Hospital is one of the pioneers of AYUSH health care facility specializing in Unani System of Medicine under the auspices of Jamia Hamdard. The Free health camps are regularly organized jointly by the Clinical departments of School of Unani Medicine and Surgery (SUMER) and Majeedia Unani Hospital. The faculties, hospital staff and students of both PG and UG level are involved actively in these health care programmes. Medical camps are conducted to carry out health promotion, education, awareness, screening, counselling and preventive healthcare services to deprived, underprivileged and poor community in nearby rural areas. All the service activities (medical consultation, therapies, investigations, free medicine distribution etc.) at the camps are rendered free of charge to the attendees at the camp.
