Applications are invited for filling up one post each of Junior Research fellow (JRF), Data Entry Operator (Grade B) and Laboratory Attendant in an ICMR funded research project entitled “Prevalence, risk factors and laboratory diagnosis of nontuberculous mycobacterial (NTM) disease: a multicentre study” on contract basis under Project Co-ordinator Prof. SK Sharma and Principal Investigator Prof (Dr.) Seyed E. Hasnain, Professor, Jamia Hamdard Institute of Molecular Medicine (JH-IMM), Jamia Hamdard, as per the details provided below:
POSITION 1: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
NAME OF THE POST: Junior Research fellow (JRF) NUMBER OF POST: One
EMOLUMENTS: Rs.31,000 + 24 % HRA per month
NATURE OF POST: Temporary, initially for a period of one year which may be extended subject to satisfactory performance and continuation of the project.
a) ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION: M.Sc in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences or allied subjects with NET Qualification.
b) DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION: M.Sc in Microbiology or Experience in the area of Tuberculosis related diagnostic and research work
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Research activities as designated by PIs.
AGE LIMIT: 30 Years (Relaxable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt. rules).
POSITION 2 : Data Entry Operator
NAME OF THE POST: Data Entry Operator NUMBER OF POST: One
EMOLUMENTS: Rs.18,000/- per month (consolidated)
NATURE OF POST: Temporary, initially for a period of one year which may be extended subject to satisfactory performance and continuation of the project.
a) ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION: Bachelor’s degree in any field and diploma in computer applications.
b) DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION: Experienced in data entry and management of scientific research project with typing speed of 40 words per minute
JOB REQUIREMENTS: To maintain records related to procurements of lab items, data entry, stock maintenance, assist research scholars in preparing reagents, perform routine experiments etc. and other activities as designated by PIs.
AGE LIMIT: 28 Years (Relaxable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt. rules).
POSITION 3: Laboratory Attendant
NAME OF THE POST: Laboratory Attendant NUMBER OF POST: One
EMOLUMENTS: Rs.15,800/- per month (consolidated)
NATURE OF POST: Temporary, initially for a period of one year which may be extended subject to satisfactory performance and continuation of the project.
a) ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION: 12th or intermediate pass in Science subjects
b) DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION: Diploma in relevant field such as Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) and Experience in laboratory work in biological science project
