Nominations/Applications Invited for Jamia Hamdard Awards for 2017

Jamia Hamdard (JH) invites nominations/applications for the following awards.

1. ”Hakeem Abdul Hameed Award” for outstanding contributions to traditional system of medicine comprising of a Gold-plated Plaque and Rs.10 Lakh cash.

   (This Award is open to eligible citizens of India with no age limit. Applications will be accepted through nominations only)

2. “Hakeem Abdul Hameed Chair in School of Unani Medicine, Jamia Hamdard”. The tenure of the Chair is three years and carries the highest emoluments drawn by a Professor at Jamia Hamdard.

   (This Award is open to eligible citizens of India; upto the age of 70 years. Applications will be accepted through nominations only)

3. ”Wockhardt Excellence Award” for academic excellence comprising of a Silver Plaque and Rs.3 Lakh cash.

   (This award, sponsored by Wockhardt Laboratories, Mumbai is open to eligible citizens of India, not exceeding 50 years of age and working at Jamia Hamdard or any recognised Minority Institution in India. Applications will be accepted directly as well as through nominations)

4. ”Sayeeda Begum Woman Scientist Prize” comprising of a citation and Rs.1 Lakh cash.

   (This award is open only to women scientists, not exceeding 45 years of age, working at Jamia Hamdard or any recognised Minority Institution in India. Applications will be accepted directly as well as through nominations)
